GIPSWU is an all-India women-led union for gig workers: app-based workers, delivery workers, drivers, beauticians, home service workers, etc... We work for social, economic and political justice, and have been fighting across the country (Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur) for the last 3 years.
OUR DEMANDS:

Employment regulation: an end to permanent ID blocking.

Workers status: Gig workers should be recognized as workers through central, all-India laws.

Explicit protections for collective bargaining and striking as guaranteed to all citizens by our constitution.

Social security for all gig workers including maternity benefits and menstrual leave.

Tripartite board with company, worker, and government representatives, to make sure that all gig workers receive benefits without discrimination.
